Below is a canvas where you may place out particles with different charge and study the electric field lines between them.

Click to create new charges and use the controllers to change the settings.

This simulation is fastest in Google Chrome, although it runs decent in Mozilla Firefox 15 too.

Limitations:

• The field lines start at both positive and negative charges, causing the field line density to be a bit off because some lines end up too close to eachother.
• The integrator that calculates the field lines is terrible and will cause the lines to look very ugly at times. Please ignore this and try to adjust the settings until everything looks OK.
• All calculations are approximate and may diverge greatly from what you'd expect.
